Over the weekend our playlists, timelines and group chats have been filled with one thing and one thing only—Lily Allen's new album West End Girl.
The album, her first in seven years, chronicles the end of a breakup and is inspired by Lily's own marriage ending with Stranger Things actor David Harbour. However, as Lily mentions in an interview with British Vogue the album is not to be taken “as gospel” as to why the pair broke up after four years of marriage.
The pair met in 2019 on celebrity dating app Raya, and tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2020, before moving in together, along with Lily's two daughters from her previous marriage into a house in New York.
On the new album, Lily sings about an open marriage, in which one half of the couple breaks the rules they set for themselves and had sex with multiple women and formed an emotional attachment to.
In one song Lily also highlights an apartment in which she believes the partner has been having sex with these women. While the album is merely inspired by what allegedly went down in the couple's marriage, it's led lots of fans to deep dive into the couple's property portfolio as Lily mentions several homes on the album.
So what properties do Lily and David own? Here's everything you need to know about them.
A brownstone in Brooklyn.
Back in 2023 the couple did a video tour of their home for Architectural Digest. The pair lived in a late 19th century brownstone in Brooklyn, New York.
The house is now reportedly up for sale for $8 million, according to The US Sun. The couple bought the house in 2020 for about $3.3 million.
One weird item many fans commented on during their house tour was Lily's embroidery piece of sexually transmitted diseases, which lived in their bathroom. Oh, and there was also a pink fridge in the bathroom, which David specifically asked for.
Their pink bedroom also featured no windows and led onto the bathroom. Lily went onto joke their bedroom was a “bed womb.” Their bedroom also featured mini chandeliers and reading nooks.
The couple also toured the magazine around their separate dressing rooms. They also went downstairs to the basement floor which includes a full tiger print carpet and sofa room, and a bathroom with a black toilet. The pair also had a sauna in their garden.

David's Lower East Side apartment.
Back in 2019, David also gave AD a tour of his “single” apartment located in the Lower East Side.
At the time the apartment was praised by fans for it's aesthetic. It features floor to ceiling book shelves, plenty of plants, and an open plan living space which features a stunning kitchen that David said he doesn't use much.
He also had a simple bedroom which he said was for “sleeping and reading.” One surprising thing David did have in his bedroom was a pilates machine.
