• "Wi$h Li$t" is Taylor Swift's favorite song from The Life of a Showgirl.
  • Taylor did an interview explaining the deeper meaning of the song, and it's so sweet.
  • The Grammy-winner wrote "Wi$h Li$t" last, and knew the album was done after.

What's your favorite song on The Life of a Showgirl? Cool, same ("Elizabeth Taylor"), but Taylor Swift's fave is "Wi$h Li$t" for the absolute sweetest reason.

Speaking on the Heart Breakfast radio show, Taylor said, "It's a song that was actually the last song that we made for the album, and it was the song where after I finished it, I was like 'Oh, we're done. We're good. We're done with this. This is the finale piece.' It's a really dreamy song, it's a really romantic song. It details all these different things that people aspire to have in their lives, and all the wishes that people are making all over the world of things in their lifestyle or things they wanna buy. Or places they want to go."

She sweetly added, "And then in the chorus it talks about what mine would be. And I'm really into that one."

Reminder of the lyrics to the song (but check them out in full below):

They deserve what they want
I hope they get what they want
I just want you, huh (You, you, yeah)
Have a couple kids, got the whole block looking like you
We tell the world to leave us the fuck alone, and they do (Oh), wow
Got me dreaming about a driveway with a basketball hoop (Hoop)
Boss up, settle down, got a wish list (Wish list)
I made wishes on all of the stars
Please, God, bring me a nice friend who I think is hot
I thought I had it right, once, twice, but I did not
You caught me off my guard
