Taylor Frankie Paul's ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, has "broken his silence" about her being ABC's next Bachelorette. By which I mean he left a somewhat salty TikTok comment disputing when they last hooked up.
"It's over and we'll see that play out," Taylor said on Call Her Daddy, confirming that she made the final decision to end things with Dakota. The reality star added that it's been a minute since they'd been together, saying, "I can't remember off the top of my head to be honest" and then admitting that they may have hooked up at Stagecoach and "one after." As she put it: "It's been very confusing if I'm being honest."
Cut to Dakota, who hopped into the comments of the above TikTok and wrote, "1 or 2 times….Got it lol."
On top of that, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star jumped onto his Instagram Stories with a cryptic post saying, "Had so many curve balls today and every time I am always reminded there is nothing more important than God and family ❤️ Life is too short."
Meanwhile, Taylor was super honest about her feelings for Dakota on Call Her Daddy, saying, "I did want to end up with him. It's no secret to anybody. It wasn't a secret, and I'll always admit that. Did I love him? Absolutely, I had a baby with him, I wanted to be with him."
"It just did not work out," she added of their breakup. "There were certain things that were forever closing for me. It was really hard to let go. It was a hard pill to swallow that I can't be with you now."
