Austin Butler, no longer possessed by the spirit of Elvis, appears to kinda-sorta-maybe be dating model/actor/author Emily Ratajkowski several months after his split from model Kaia Gerber. And, I mean, since we're out here pondering his relationship status anyway, might as well take a look back at his dating history for good measure!
Vanessa Hudgens: 2011 to 2020
Justin and Vanessa dated back when he was best known for Switched at Birth, and they were together for almost a decade. The pair were first spotted at a party for Ashley Tisdale’s sister in 2011 (amazing), and made it clear that they were Very Much Together by kissing at a Lakers game.
Then they went Instagram official in 2014...
And spent the next few years making public appearances, being cute, and getting in trouble for defacing a rock.
But things went awry in 2019—around the time Austin booked the role of Elvis. Which, by the way, was Vanessa's idea. As she put it on Live With Kelly and Ryan, "It’s so crazy because last December, we were driving along and we were listening to Christmas music, and then an Elvis Presley Christmas song came on. He had just dyed his hair dark—he’s a natural-blonde blonde—and I was looking at him and he was singing along and I was like, ‘Babe, you need to play Elvis. I don’t know how, but I’m serious. You need to play him.’ Then in January, he was sitting at the piano—he’s a musician—and he’s playing and he’s singing and I’m like, ‘I don’t know how, but we need to figure out how you can play Elvis. Like, I don’t know how we get rights or what we do, but you need to play him.'"
Anyway, they split in January of 2020, and a source told Us Weekly, "Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup."
Things got a bit awkward a few years later in 2020 when Austin didn't give Vanessa credit for the Elvis of it all during a Hollywood Reporter interview. "The month before I heard that Baz was making the movie, I was going to look at Christmas lights with a friend," he said. "And there was an Elvis Christmas song on the radio and I was singing along, and my friend looked over at me and goes, 'You’ve gotta play Elvis!' And then a couple of weeks later, I was playing the piano…that same friend was there and I was playing the piano. She said, 'I’m serious—you gotta figure out how you can get the rights to a script….'"

Austin and Olivia were rumored to be dating after meeting on Elvis, and they were spotted sunbathing together in pics obtained by the Daily Mail. But hey, maybe they were just hanging out as friends!
Lily-Rose Depp: August 2021
Austin and Lily-Rose were spotted kissing in pics obtained by People, but looks like it was just a hookup because nothing else happened—at least not publicly!
Kaia Gerber: 2021 to 2025
Kaia and Austin were first spotted together in December 2021, when a People source said "She seems really happy. All of her friends think he’s really cute."
They attended their first official event in March 2022:

But breakup rumors popped off in 2024 thanks to Kaia and Austin making less and less appearances together, and by January 2025 TMZ sources reported that they were done—saying they ended "around the end of 2024" and "the relationship just simply ran its course."
Emily Ratajkowski (Rumored): September 2025
Austin and EmRata were spotted grabbing drinks at The Waverly Inn in photos obtained by TMZ, who said "The pair didn’t show much PDA as they chit-chatted for two hours. Emily leaned in to Austin, and Austin had his arm around Emily’s shoulder at one point."
DeuxMoi sources also said they were 'super intimate,' and 'very giggly and cute and equally into each other."
