Everybody loves Bad Bunny. But not even an international superstar can be everywhere at once. As he embarks on his latest world tour, fans in the U.S. are getting a rude awakening to that very fact, as the reality sets in that Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour isn’t coming to the U.S.

During a September 2025 interview with i-D, the Latin artist opened up about skipping the 50 states, and he revealed that his decision was rooted in concern about the mass deportations of Latinos in the United States. “There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate—I’ve performed there many times,” he said, later adding, “But there was the issue of—like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”

Avid fans first picked up on Benito’s reluctance to tour in the U.S. back in May, when the musician announced his 2025 and 2026 world tour dates. He later confirmed that it was a strategic decision to skip the U.S. this time around, telling Variety in July, “It’s unnecessary.”

No doubt many fans would argue that, actually, it is very necessary for him to play some shows in the U.S.—but in fairness, Bad Bunny has been touring the country for years. His logic, per Variety, is that American fans have had many opportunities to see him perform live. Now, it’s time to give others a chance.

Fans know that Bad Bunny is very intentional with his live performances. Earlier this year, he made a point to reserve the first nine dates of his Puerto Rico residency, No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí, for PR residents. That said, the stops on his World Tour have no such restrictions, and U.S.-based fans can still get tickets to the DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour—they’ll just have to get plane tickets, too.
