Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi’s recent adoption may have just hit our social timelines, but there could be more celebrity baby news where that came from thanks to FKA twigs. The internet is currently spiraling over the “Cellophane” singer’s recent Instagram post, where she’s seen holding herself up on a pole while showing off a baby bump in a neutral-toned bikini.
While she’s been romantically linked to photographer Jordan Hemingway since 2023, twigs has kept much of their relationship under wraps. She hasn’t confirmed whether they’re expecting a child together—but she is gearing up to release her highly-anticipated Eusexua follow-up.
During her performance at Lowlands Music Festival in the Netherlands on August 16, she said, “It’s true. I am pregnant—I am full and abundant and ready to give birth. Her name is Afterglow, and my labor shall commence next month.”
Fans in her comments section seemed generally unbothered by the baby bump, as they assumed it was a promotional stunt for her upcoming project. “I’m confused,” one fan wrote, while another jokingly added, “We giving birth, y’all.” Another referred to twigs’ “baby” as her new album, writing, “Afterglow having too many aunties, uncles, and theyties.”
The photographer behind her post, Siniša, posted a pic of twigs in the same look minus the baby bump on their Instagram Stories, which confirmed theories that it’s just a prosthetic.
ICYMI, this isn’t the first time the “Childlike Things” singer has worn a prosthetic baby bump. She also feigned pregnancy in her “Glass & Patrón” music video in 2015.
