For our Party Tricks challenge, we asked a set of super-creative entertaining experts to show us how they come up with table decor for a themed bash. (Spoiler alert: It starts and ends with Amazon, which makes finding and sourcing everything they could possibly need with ease, and within budget.)
This episode features celebrity chef and food writer Will Coleman, who got "cowboy disco party" as his genre and immediately set to work matching "the old with the new," as he put it. That meant finding just the right balance between shiny, modern looks and more classic Western vibes—and also between practical party needs (glassware, napkins) and, well, fun party needs (glitter, anyone?). None of that's a problem for Coleman, though—as he says, "I love layering."
