The cast of Hulu's Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will soon be gathering to put their heads together and ask life's most eternal question: will #MomTok survive this? The answer: probably not, especially since Demi Engemann—who is absolutely central to the drama this season—chose to skip the event.

Season 2's reunion is hosted by Bachelor alum Nick Viall, and a trailer just dropped that looks extremely dramatic. But it's unclear how the Mormon Wives will navigate all of said drama when Demi isn't at their group therapy session.

So, why did she skip? Demi answered this burning question on Instagram a bit ago, saying "It was short notice and the only day they could get the location secured was the day that me and my entire family did Disneyland. We had already booked all of our flights and the Airbnb was nonrefundable or I would've moved the trip to be there. I tried to have production move it to another day and they couldn't swing it sadly."

Meanwhile, Demi's ex Mormon Wives bestie Jessi Ngatikaura just told The Post, "I was frustrated because we all were told of the date weeks in advance and we just had to make it work. It’s our job. I was actually teaching a hair class that weekend and I had 60 students who had flown in mostly from out of state to learn from me, and I had to have someone else teach the class and I have a lot of people disappointed and wanting money back. So for me, I had to make a big sacrifice. So I was really annoyed that she wasn’t there, especially because she was one that everyone needed answers from."

She added, "But I will say, everyone has different situations and whether she wanted to be there or not, it’s what happened. And I do think that fans are going to see that you will hear from her at the reunion in a roundabout way and you still will get answers."

Intriggggguing.
