Queen Camilla is (obviously) well aware that King Charles and his son Prince Harry are years-deep into a feud that literally will not end. But according to a People source, she "stays out of" the drama—despite being name-checked and described as "dangerous" in Harry's book, Spare.

Camilla hasn't spent time with Prince Harry in years, though Harry talked about his step-mother candidly in 2023, telling Good Morning America "We haven't spoken for a long time. I love every member of my family, despite the differences. So when I see her, we're perfectly pleasant with each other. She's my stepmother. I don't look at her as an evil stepmother. I see someone who married into this institution, and done everything she can to improve her own reputation and her own image, for her own sake."

In other news, Kate Middleton has also pivoted from trying to fix the family drama to wanting zero to do with it.

Royal expert and broadcaster Helena Chard recently told Fox News that Kate doesn't want to be "dragged into the public negative narrative" and is in "protection mode" when it comes to her kids. She's also allegedly worried about Prince Harry being a "burden" on Prince William's eventual reign as king.

Meanwhile, expert Hilary Fordwich says there's a "huge sense of betrayal and broader frustration, as well as a massive cultural clash" between former friends Kate and Harry, and that Kate's "thrown her hands up in disgust, stepping back from any role of attempting to mediate a reconciliation since the rift between the brothers kept widening."
