Hailey Bieber made her first appearance at the Met Gala in three years last night, wearing a chic Saint Laurent blazer dress (she left her hotel with a martini in hand, which...iconic). But obviously this was not a night for merely one look. Hailey went ahead and changed into corseted minidress, Tiffany & Co jewelry, and Paris Texas Lidia Mules for the after-parties—stepping out with a huge smile on her face while holding a purse that I’m pretty sure is too small to even fit her phone.
Hailey attended the Met Gala solo amid speculation about her and Justin Bieber, and if that caused you to be respectfully curious, reminder: Justin released a statement telling everyone they’re just fine.
Ahem: “Honestly if I was you it would be hard not to be jealous if I saw me and Hailey going so brazzzzyy,” he wrote on Instagram. “It’s really up for us and that’s understandable why people can’t stand it. I don’t blame em.”
Oh, and he also called out sources chatting about him, saying, “They treat me like ass out here, but if I remember that I am flawed too and god forgave me, it helps me to stop feeling better than those people who are mean and hurtful. Because when I’m really honest I can be mean and hurtful too. My instinct is to be like damn I wouldn’t gossip and spread lies about someone on the internet but there’s other shit I do I’m not proud of that god is gracious with. Hurt people hurt people.”
Anyway! Point is: (1) Justin and Hailey are good despite him skipping the Met Gala, and (2) Hailey has good taste in cute minidresses.
