Then, in an interview with GQ, Justin basically says the same thing, explaining Hailey is “someone I really love” but that he doesn’t “want to be held down by anything.”

Justin unfollows Hailey on Instagram. Who knows why, but apparently, he's jealous of Drake?
“Justin unfollowed Hailey on social media, and now all their friends are talking sh*t on Sofia [Richie] and him and how messed up it is,” a source tells People. “Bieber wasn’t happy about [her friendship with Drake] and so they haven’t really been in touch in a bit. But out of nowhere, Sofia apparently made him unfollow Hailey and now she and her friends are all super upset.”
2016 to 2018: The Dark Ages
Justin and Hailey are NOT friends for almost two years. As Hailey put it once they got back together, “[We] went through a long period of time when we weren’t friends. We didn’t speak for quite some time and there was a lot of weirdness that went on.”

Justin and Hailey get engaged in the Bahamas! TMZ reports the news, saying two eyewitnesses saw the engagement go down.
“Everyone was at a restaurant on the property doing salsa dancing, when Justin’s security told everyone to put their phones away, because something special was about to happen,” the site says. “Justin then proposed in front of everyone.”
Justin confirms the engagement soon after with a long (and I mean looooooong) Instagram post. “Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast,” he writes. “Listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly.”

After Justin and Hailey go to a New York City courthouse to get their marriage license, everyone assumes that they also got married. But then Hailey tweets (per People), “I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!” However, she then deletes said tweet.
However! Us Weekly confirms that Justin and Hailey got married and didn’t sign a prenup. If you need further proof, Hailey’s uncle Alec Baldwin says they are indeed married. Ahem: “They went off and got married, and I don’t know what the deal is!”
That same day, Justin and his “baby boo” are spotted making out in London. The pics are truly something.

Justin and Hailey spend Thanksgiving together and invite their families to their new 9,000-square-feet lake house in Waterloo, Ontario, to celebrate the holidays.
Justin even posts an Instagram of some of the scenery on his 1,000-acre property and writes, “First Thanksgiving as a married man, first time hosting Thanksgiving. First time both sides of the family has come together. Relationships are hard and love isn’t always easy but thank you Jesus for showing me how!”

Justin and Hailey allegedly send out a few Save the Dates for February 28. According to some anonymous Page Six sources, the wedding planning is in full swing and Justin and Hailey are already rehearsing everything.

Justin reportedly receives treatment for depression. According to People sources, he “struggles a lot with the idea of fame—being followed, having his every move stalked by fans, cameras in his face.” The source also puts a stop to trolls before they even start, and makes sure to clarify that Justin’s treatment has nothing to do with Hailey or the wedding planning.
