We're still getting over the devastating death in the season 3 finale of The White Lotus, but that doesn't mean we can't also be looking towards the future. The White Lotus has already been confirmed for a season 4, and theories are already flying about the who, what, when, and where of it all. But one pitch that has really garnered attention is for a reunion season bringing back series faves. First in line? Season 2 alum Meghann Fahy, who said she would return for a White Lotus all star season.
Season 3 star Patrick Schwarzenegger first floated the idea of an all-star season in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “They could get all the douche guys in one hotel together,” he said. “Mike said that one day when we were on set, he was like, ‘Oh my God, it'd be so good to get you, Jack Lacy, and Theo James in the same room.’”
Theo James, of course, played Cameron in season 2, a rich, adulterous hottie married to Daphne, played by Meghann Fahy. So, would Meghann return? “I, of course, would love to. In a heartbeat,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “That's the easiest yes in the world.” But even if she wasn't invited back, Meghann said an all-star season is “something I would love to watch,” adding, “I love the show so much and there's so many amazing characters.”
For what it's worth, bringing back Meghann's season 2 character Daphne would make a lot of sense. She and her cheating husband were a rich, jet-setting couple who love nothing more than a fancy getaway. It would be strange if they didn't show up during an all-star season, TBH. Yes, Daphne's last stay at a White Lotus ended with her husband maybe cheating on her with her new friend and, yes, she did find a dead body in the ocean, but if there's one thing about Daphne it's that she's a survivor who excels at compartmentalization.
Meanwhile, Meghann has caught up on season 3. Asked about the finale on the red carpet for her new film, Drop, Meghann told Access Hollywood, “They took a good one.” Seemingly referring to Chelsea's tragic death, Meghann continued, “I was devastated. I knew it was coming though, it's like everyone's favorite person is the one to go.”
