Aimee Lou Wood's Relationship History for Everyone Curious/Obsessed

We're still in the early days of this season, but the verdict is...obsessed. Specifically with this season's cast of characters, and even more specifically with Aimee Lou Wood.

Those of us who were Sex Education fans are well aware of what a brilliant actor Aimee is, and White Lotus is poised to take her into household name territory. At least for those households who watch White Lotus, so...everyone? In the interest of getting to know her better, here's a deep dive on Aimee's dating history for those of you feeling (respectfully) nosy.

Circa Right Now: She's Single

Unless she's in a VERY private relationship (which is entirely possible), Aimee appears to be single. Back in 2021 she told Grazia, "I find it hard when I’m in relationships to maintain my sense of who I am. I’m very independent, but I’m also quite impressionable. I can be taken away from myself quite easily, I kind of start betraying myself and compromising my integrity, to keep someone else happy. That’s why it’s really important for me to have time alone."

She also dished dating advice to Bustle that same year, saying, “Rudeness, not saying thank you, and being impolite is such an ick for me. Don’t look at how they’re treating you, look at how they’re treating the waiter.”

Circa 2018 to 2020: Connor Swindells

Aimee was dating her Sex Education costar Connor Swindells (who you might recognize from Barbie and Emma) throughout much of their time on the series, and they were extremely sweet together. Both Aimee and Connor were pretty low-key as far as celebs go, so they weren't asked much about their relationship in the press and fans only realized they were together thanks to social media + joint appearances making it pretty obvious.

But Aimee did open up about their split to Grazia, saying, "We’d had some time apart and then we realized that maybe the relationship wasn’t serving us both. We still really love each other and respect each other. It was an okay breakup, it wasn’t dramatic. I felt like a dam burst, then all of a sudden I was hurting, but I needed to be there, because I’d become a bit numb and it was nice to suddenly feel everything again."
