This probably won’t come as much of a shock to you, but Beyoncé and Jay-Z are very rich. Like, “I swim around in literal pools of money” rich. But have you ever taken a moment to daydream about just how much money Bey and Jay have in their bank accounts? Because it’s more than a billion. That’s a billion with a “b.” This most likely doesn’t shock you, considering the singer topped record books as the most awarded female artist in Grammys history after she took home her 35th (!!) award in 2025. And Jay’s decades-long music—and business—career is anything but shabby. Not! To! Mention! Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour made her literal millions from her in-person stadium tour—and she has officially reached billionaire status on her own, too.

Let’s break down where all their money comes from, including Beyoncé’s net worth, plus her combined fortune with Jay-Z. But first, proof of those pools of money I was talking about:

Their Album and Single Sales

Beyoncé is the big winner when it comes to single sales, having (so far!) made $114.5 million in digital singles, while her husband has earned $33.5 million. But the two are a bit more head-to-head when it comes to album sales: He’s made an impressive $33.5 million, while Beyoncé’s made $30.5 million.

P.S. We also can’t forget about the money Beyoncé made from her time as part of Destiny’s Child! Sure, she was splitting earnings with Kelly and Michelle, but it’s still fair to assume she made a lot of $$$.

Their Tours

Bey and Jay’s On the Run II Tour grossed $250 million—and that’s only the beginning. Their first (much shorter) On the Run Tour grossed $95 million. Jay’s 2017 4:44 Tour grossed $48.7 million, and Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour was *the* highest-grossing tour of 2016, earning $256 million. Like…HOW DOES THAT MUCH MONEY EVEN EXIST ON PLANET EARTH? BRB, taking a moment to fan myself:

Fun fact: Beyoncé reportedly made more than $3 million for her appearance at Coachella in 2018. Her set lasted 105 minutes. By my (highly advanced) calculations, that means she earned $28,571.43 per minute! In January 2023, the celeb performed at the grand opening for the Atlantis The Royal Grand reveal weekend in Dubai, which btw was her first show in five years (!!). It was reported that Bey was apparently paid $24 million for the private, one-hour set, and I would just once again love to employ my arithmetic skills and break that down to $400,000 per minute, lol.

That same year, Bey wrapped her Renaissance World Tour, which quite literally took the world by storm. According to Billboard, Bey earned an estimated $294.3 million from the Renaissance World Tour. However, she then continued to rake in the dough, as the concert also played in theaters for months.

Oh, and with the release of Bey’s Act II album, Cowboy Carter, she def had another No. 1 in the bag. According to Headline Planet, the country record shot up to the top of iTunes’ U.S. album sales chart when it first dropped, solidifying its almost instant success. According to Forbes, the album (and its tour) brought Bey to billionaire status thanks to its history-making ticket sales. Pollstar reports that the Cowboy Carter Tour grossed more than $400 million in ticket sales, and Forbes estimates that she raked in another $50 million in merch sold at the shows.

Beyoncé’s Merch

And, speaking of merch…remember when Beyoncé and her mom, Tina Knowles, started House of Deréon? Well, sadly, that stylish venture is no more, but Bey’s fashion star rose from the ashes like a phoenix and gifted the world Ivy Park! (Which has also reportedly been discontinued after 2024.) Her debut collection nearly sold out the second it hit Topshop, and her Adidas collections were also wildly popular—so Beyoncé undoubtedly took home hefty profits.

Oh, and speaking of profits, lest you forget Bey also launched her own perfume line back in the day. As of 2013, she’s sold $400 million worth of fragrance, and dropped her latest one back in October 2024! Wouldn’t you pay serious $$$ to smell like Beyoncé?

Bey Stands for Business, BTW

On top of ^^^ all of this, Beyoncé launched her haircare line Cécred in 2024, and CreatorIQ reports that it secured $13.9 million in Earned Media Value. Cécred also earned a Cosmopolitan Holy Grail Beauty Award that same year.

Bey also dropped her own line of whiskey, SirDavis, in 2024. It's unclear how much she's made from the alcohol venture, but according to Forbes, it could definitely bring her closer to billionaire status if it takes off like Jay Z's alcohol brands. In 2021, Jay reportedly made $300 million when he sold half of his luxury champagne brand Ace of Spades to LVMH. He also raked in $750 million after selling most of his stake in D'ussé Cognac to Bacardi.

Bey’s Endorsements

These days, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are kiiinda too cool for your basic celebrity sponcon (the moment I see Beyoncé use a #ad hashtag is the moment I give up), but Bey still has plenty of endorsements under her belt. Most recently, she starred in a campaign for Levi's Jeans to match her Cowboy Carter track of the same name.

She’s also worked with brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Armani, and who can forget that $50 million deal she had with Pepsi, which she inked in 2012?

The only thing that could put that Pepsi deal to shame is Bey and Jay’s 2021 partnership with Tiffany & Co. for its “About Love” campaign, where Beyoncé is wearing the brand’s iconic 128-carat yellow diamond. Needless to say, if Tiffany’s dug out the big diamonds for this, it probably dished out the mega-big bucks for Bey and Jay too.

On top of that, Bey's invested in companies she believes in—like hydration brand Lemon Perfect, which Forbes said was worth $150 million as of February 2023.

Bey’s Movies

Beyoncé has starred in multiple movies (ahem, The Lion King, anyone?), most of which were produced by studios that don’t disclose salary information. That said!! It *has* been reported that the singer earned $12.5 million for Dreamgirls, which was twice as much as she earned for Austin Powers. I mean, can we get a little commotion for that payday?!

Another mind-blowing tidbit we know about Bey’s film salary? Netflix agreed to pay her a whopping $60 million for three projects—including Homecoming!

And, ofc, we can't forget Bey's Renaissance film that hit theaters in December 2023. Fun fact: After being out in theaters for a little over a month, it had already raked in more than $44 million at the global box office.

Tidal and Roc Nation

'Kay, this is where major money comes into play. Jay-Z bought Tidal for $56 million, and back in 2018, Forbes reported that it was worth $600 million. But, uh, nowadays? Forbes reported in March 2021 that Jay-Z’s net worth jumped 40 percent thanks to selling a majority stake in Tidal for $297 million. According to the outlet, Jay netted out $149 million in cash and stock.

So yeah, he earned a LOT from that particular investment. Oh, and Bey also owns part of Tidal and ingeniously made Lemonade exclusively available on the platform when it first came out, prompting people like yours truly to sign up. She pulled a similar move when she announced her Cowboy Carter singles, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ’Em,” as they were exclusively available on Tidal during the Super Bowl before they dropped on other streaming platforms.

All of Jay-Z’s Projects and Investments

1. In addition to Tidal, Jay-Z runs Roc Nation and Roc Nation Sports. Oh, and we can’t forget his clothing company Rocawear, which raked in $700 million before he sold it for $204 million. (Also, while this is a Jay-centric section, it should be noted that Bey still runs management company Parkwood Entertainment!)

2. He owns a restaurant chain called the 40/40 Club.

3. He owns a fancy champagne called Armand de Brignac, which Forbes reports he sold 50 percent of in a deal that valued the liquor company at around $640 million.

In 2021, Jay’s portfolio included $425 million in investments, $320 million in Armand de Brignac, $140 million in Roc Nation, $120 million in his cognac brand D’Usse, and a music catalog worth $95 million. Meanwhile, his and Beyoncé’s art collection was worth $70 million and they had $50 million in real estate. But in The Year of Our Lord 2023, the rapper's net worth is looking a little something like $2.5 billion in the latest estimate from Forbes.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Total Net Worth in 2026

As of December 2025, Bey has officially hit billionaire status on her own thanks to the success of her flourishing business ventures and her album, Cowboy Carter. According to Forbes, she’s the third-highest-paid musician in the world. The outlet also reports that Jay-Z’s net worth is $2.5 billion, which makes their combined net worth around $4 billion.

Allow me to write that again in a bigger font:

~$4 BILLION

I’m not okay!
